Would anyone like to see their party room open at certain times on a regular basis (when its not otherwise booked) to allow residents to meet casually?
Do you think we could be using our room for purposes other than the annual meeting, monthly board meetings, and private event bookings?
Do you think we are making full use of this amenity?

Yes, I think it would be very nice to have the option for access by asking the conceierge when and if it is available. Obviously, they must know who is using it and for what period of time. But if one is not entertaining, one would hope it is not necessary to pay $500 deposit just to sit and have a conversation, or meeting of any other type.
Another point to be brought to the board's attention, or Anil's?
It would be great if it was open to have access to the amazing terrace space. Maybe it's just open saturday and sunday afternoons? Is there any news on BBQ's? some of us are not able to have them on our personal terraces...so it would be nice to have an area to grill up a steak.
Many residents have ideas for using the party room, -book clubs, card games, cocktail hour, cooking demos...
We perhaps need a submission form for proposals spelling out -the nature of the event
-its frequency and duration
-number of participants expected
(and is it open to all or to a select group only)
-food & drink proposed
-cleanup commitment
-damage responsibility.
We need to be clear on what our duties would be as hosts or participants and what things our staff would handle.
Significant damage has been an issue already within the space so we need some detailed guidelines.
(Like no spike heels please.)
(And no bouncing off the walls.)
Not kidding.
Significant damage? of what sort? and why? surely our community is not that careless??
Stiletto heels left their impression on hardwood flooring necessitating replacement.
Numerous goudges were seen in the wall of the boardroom. Whole section of wall has to be resurfaced and repainted.
Repeated treatment of food/drink stains on carpeted areas.
